We made our first racer for the grand total of £16...we are hoping the next one will be 100% recycled materials! (Off old farm machinery!)

We would like to base our go kart on superheroes! The kart will be designed to look like a flying superhero and our team will also be dressed as superheroes. Our charity is locally based and only supports local children with cancer. Everyone is a volunteer and nobody is paid and we have very little costs, and so all we raise really does go straight to help these amazing children.

Celebrating the golden era of British Engineering, we will be building a 1950's / 1960's Formula 1 Racing car using the latest manufacturing techniques. The chassis and body will be built from aluminium, with smaller items being 3D printed in plastic. The team members will also be dressed in a style befitting of the times!

This would be our second year of entering (who could forget the dinosaurs)! We had such an amazing time last year we're confident that we could enjoy it even more with this team. Basically we're going to be a team from Sodor and the cart would be based around Thomas the tank engine, smoke coming out of chimney and hopefully going really fast!

Team Disco-licious had such a good time at Wacky Races 2021 that we are back this year! We have chosen to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support this time who helped my Mum Joan recover from bowel cancer. Last year we raised over £3000 for Tommys. The whole family are looking forward to a really fun race and weekend, hope lots of friends can join us!
