Inspirational Wish child Austin set to open the Krazy Races.
Austin has had to deal with so many things in his life so far, heart and lung conditions, Chronic Asthma, Autism, genetic disorder and chromosome deficiency to name a few. Austin has also had two cardiac arrests whilst in his class room. Since attending his first event with When You Wish upon A Star, Austin has been inspired to start fundraising for the charity so that he can help other children like himself have their Wishes and join in on treat days. Around school, his clubs and all his hospital appointments he has now managed to raise an amazing £5000 for When You Wish Upon A Star.
Austin is really excited for the day. His reason behind all his hard work fundraising is: “To give the poorly children smiles.”
Stockport Krazy Races is an annual event that showcases the most outrageous and creative vehicles in the country. You can see everything from jet-powered skateboards to rocket-propelled tricycles, and even a flying bathtub! The races are open to anyone who has a vehicle that meets the safety standards and the craziness criteria. You can join as a spectator and enjoy the thrill of watching these amazing machines zoom past you.
Not only are the Krazy Race team supporting the local community by providing this event they have become Wish granters by selecting local charity When You Wish Upon a Star as Charity partner for the 2023 event.

We would like to take this opportunity thank for the Krazy Races team for their support helping us make dreams come true, creating lasting memories for our Wish children and their families.”
The event will take place on Sunday 28th May, from 10.45 am, in Stockport town centre. There will also be food stalls and entertainment for the whole family. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the most insane and hilarious races of your life!
